Where do you give lessons?
Individual lessons during the winter months are given at The Valley Sports Center in Canton, CT. Outdoor lessons are given at Mike Scott's traing facility in Canton, CT. Mike can travel for lessons at arranged locations with the client. Call Mike at 860-352-2168 to schedule lessons.

What prices do you charge for individual lessons and group clinics?
Pricing for most lessons and clinics are set on the lessons page here at this web site. Some costs could change due to extra travel or specialized instruction. Watch for discount offers on lessons and clinics, they will appear at MikeScottBaseball.com in the lessons section.

How long have you been teaching baseball and giving instruction?
Mike has worked with baseball schools, youth baseball leagues, coaching, and giving youth instruction since 1992. For the last 20 years Mike has been providing personal instruction for ages 4-40, little leaguers, high school, college players, and men's leagues. His experince and knowledge at all ages is most important when it comes to a players development getting to the next level and preparing them for the upcoming years.

How often should I schedule lessons for my child?
Lesson frequency varies depending on the age, type of instruction, and season schedule. We work with each student individually to find a comfortable routine of instruction to get the most out of each lesson. Some basic guidelines to follow are:
Younger players ( 5-12 years old ) practice no more than 1 hour.
Older players 13+ can do longer lessons depending on the intensity of the workout.
Safety is always taken seriously. Pitching instruction for example must be watched carefully to ensure it will not interupt with the current season or prevent the player from being full strength in the field.
Please discuss your instruction with Mike personally, together you will schedule lessons that will work best for your players.
